Autumn! Lets Get Started!

Most of the class time will be used for demonstrating various stitches, including the whip stitch,
blanket stitch, herringbone stitch, back stitch, stem stitch, couch stitch and drizzle stitch. The
class fee includes a small kit with flannel, wool and threads so participants can practice the
stitches during class. You may learn some stitches that become new favorites. If time permits,
participants may begin or continue to work on their first month’s blocks.

Class Supplies
 Needles – Chenille Needles: Sizes 22 and 24; Milliner or Tulip Needle: Size 3 or
Primitive Gatherings Embellishment Needle
 Pincushion or Small Pillow (to be used as an anchor for the needle with the drizzle
stitch)
 Scissors
 Autumn Block-of-the-Month Kit for Month 1 and needed supplies (i.e., freezer paper or
fusible, threads, etc.)
