Wool Appliqué Basics – Let’s Get Started!

Are you intrigued by wool appliqué, but never tried it? Do you need a refresher course on the basics of wool appliqué? This class is for you! Once you understand the basic techniques used in wool appliqué, you will be able to create beautiful handwork pieces. This class will include information on using both freezer paper and fusible applique methods to prepare your project for stitching. We’ll also talk about needles and threads. The basic stitches used in wool appliqué will be demonstrated. You will be able to put this information into practice during class by preparing the class project – a little snowman pillow – for stitching. This kit is required and will be available for purchase at class. A separate practice piece will be provided to allow you to try different needles and threads as you practice the basic wool appliqué stitches during class.
